Abu Sulaiman Khalid bin Al-Walid (May Allah be pleased with him) said: In the battle of Mu'tah, seven swords were broken in my hand, and all that remained with me was a Yemeni sword.[Al- Bukhari].

وعن أبي سليمان خالد بن الوليد رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ “لقد انقطعت في يدي يوم مؤته تسعة أسياف، فما بقي في يدي إلا صفيحة يمانية‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه البخاري‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
