حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ خَلِيلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ـ وَهْوَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ـ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ لَمَّا أُصِيبَ عُمَرُ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ جَعَلَ صُهَيْبٌ يَقُولُ وَاأَخَاهُ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏\n"‏ إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ لَيُعَذَّبُ بِبُكَاءِ الْحَىِّ ‏"‏‏.‏
