\nNarrated Um 'Atiyya:\n \n\nOnce the Prophet (ﷺ) went to `Aisha and asked her whether she had something (to eat). She said that she \nhad nothing except the mutton which Um 'Atiyya had sent to (Buraira) in charity. The Prophet (ﷺ) said \nthat it had reached its destination (i.e. it is no longer an object of charity.)\n

\nحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ عِنْدَكُمْ شَىْءٌ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَتْ لاَ، إِلاَّ شَىْءٌ بَعَثَتْ بِهِ أُمُّ عَطِيَّةَ مِنَ الشَّاةِ الَّتِي بُعِثَ إِلَيْهَا مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ إِنَّهَا قَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحِلَّهَا ‏"‏‏.‏
