\nNarrated Anas:\n \n\nWhile the Prophet (ﷺ) was in a Ghazwa he said, "Some people have remained behind us in Medina and \nwe never crossed a mountain path or a valley, but they were with us (i.e. sharing the reward with us), \nas they have been held back by a (legal) excuse. "\n

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ ـ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ فِي غَزَاةٍ فَقَالَ ‏\n"‏ إِنَّ أَقْوَامًا بِالْمَدِينَةِ خَلْفَنَا، مَا سَلَكْنَا شِعْبًا وَلاَ وَادِيًا إِلاَّ وَهُمْ مَعَنَا فِيهِ، حَبَسَهُمُ الْعُذْرُ ‏"‏‏.‏ وَقَالَ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَوَّلُ أَصَحُّ‏.‏
