حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏\n"‏ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَوْرِ جَهَنَّمَ، فَأَبْرِدُوهَا عَنْكُمْ بِالْمَاءِ ‏"‏‏.‏
