\nNarrated Anas bin Malik:\n \n\nAllah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to invoke thus: "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from miserliness, laziness; \nfrom old geriatric age the punishment in the grave; from the affliction of Ad-Dajjal; and from the \nafflictions of life and death.\n

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَعْوَرُ، عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ‏.‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَدْعُو ‏\n"‏ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبُخْلِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ ‏"‏‏.‏
