أَخْبَرَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى لاَ تَصْبُغُ فَخَالِفُوا عَلَيْهِمْ فَاصْبُغُوا ‏"‏ ‏.‏
