Narrated Ubayy bin Ka'b: Ubayy bin Ka'b that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "If it were not for the Hijrah, I would be a man from the Ansar."

Narrated Ubayy bin Ka'b: Ubayy bin Ka'b that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "If it were not for the Hijrah, I would be a man from the Ansar."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنِ الطُّفَيْلِ بْنِ أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ لَوْلاَ الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
