Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "O Allah! You made the first of the Quraish taste punishment, so let the last of them taste blessings."

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "O Allah! You made the first of the Quraish taste punishment, so let the last of them taste blessings."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ اللَّهُمَّ أَذَقْتَ أَوَّلَ قُرَيْشٍ نَكَالاً فَأَذِقْ آخِرَهُمْ نَوَالاً ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.‏
