Narrated Ibn 'Umar: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "In Thaqif there is a liar and a destroyer."

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُصْمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ فِي ثَقِيفٍ كَذَّابٌ وَمُبِيرٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
