\nNarrated Abu Huraira:\n \n\nThe Prophet (ﷺ) offered a prayer, and (after finishing) he said, "Satan came in front of me trying \npersistently to divert my attention from the prayer, but Allah gave me the strength to over-power \nhim."\n

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ صَلَّى صَلاَةً فَقَالَ ‏\n"‏ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ عَرَضَ لِي، فَشَدَّ عَلَىَّ يَقْطَعُ الصَّلاَةَ عَلَىَّ، فَأَمْكَنَنِي اللَّهُ مِنْهُ ‏"‏‏.‏ فَذَكَرَهُ‏.‏
