\nNarrated Jabir:\n \n\nOn the day of Al-Ahzab (i.e. clans), Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, 'Who will bring us the news of the people \n(i.e. the clans of Quraish infidels)?" Az-Zubair said, "I." The Prophet (ﷺ) again said, "Who will bring us \nthe news of the people?" AzZubair said, "I." The Prophet (ﷺ) again said, "Who will bring us the news of \nthe people?" Az-Zubair said, "I." The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, "Every prophet has his Hawari (i.e. disciplespecial \nhelper); my disciple is Az-Zubair.\n

\nحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ الأَحْزَابِ ‏"‏ مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ ‏"‏‏.‏ فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ أَنَا‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏"‏ مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ ‏"‏‏.‏ فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ أَنَا‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏"‏ مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ ‏"‏‏.‏ فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ أَنَا‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏"‏ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا، وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ ‏"‏‏.‏
