\nNarrated `Abdullah bin Abi `Aufa:\n \n\nWe were in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ) when he performed the `Umra. He performed the Tawaf and \nwe did the same; he offered the prayer and we also offered the prayer with him. Then he performed \nthe Sai between Safa and Marwa and we were guarding him against the people of Mecca so that \nnobody should harm him.\n

\nحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ اعْتَمَرَ فَطَافَ فَطُفْنَا مَعَهُ، وَصَلَّى وَصَلَّيْنَا مَعَهُ، وَسَعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، فَكُنَّا نَسْتُرُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ، لاَ يُصِيبُهُ أَحَدٌ بِشَىْءٍ‏.‏
