\nوَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ، أَكَلَ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا ثُمَّ مَضْمَضَ وَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ وَمَسَحَ بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ ‏.‏
