\n\n \nYahya related to me that Malik had asked Ibn Shihab how to wipe\nover leather socks. Ibn Shihab had put one hand under the sock and his\nother hand above the sock and then passed them over it.\n\n\nYahya\nsaid that Malik said, "Out of all that I have heard about the matter I\nlike what Ibn Shihab said the most."\n\n

\nوَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ، عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ كَيْفَ هُوَ فَأَدْخَلَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ تَحْتَ الْخُفِّ وَالأُخْرَى فَوْقَهُ ثُمَّ أَمَرَّهُمَا ‏.‏ قَالَ يَحْيَى قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَقَوْلُ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَحَبُّ مَا سَمِعْتُ إِلَىَّ فِي ذَلِكَ ‏.‏
