\n\n \nYahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ubaydullah\nibn Abdullah ibn Utba ibn Masud from Umm Qays ibn Mihsan that she\nbrought a baby boy of hers who was not yet eating food to the\nMessenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he\nsat it in his arms and it urinated on his garment, so the Messenger of\nAllah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, called for some water\nand sprinkled over it but did not wash it.\n\n

\nوَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ، أَنَّهَا أَتَتْ بِابْنٍ لَهَا صَغِيرٍ لَمْ يَأْكُلِ الطَّعَامَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَجْلَسَهُ فِي حَجْرِهِ فَبَالَ عَلَى ثَوْبِهِ فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ بِمَاءٍ فَنَضَحَهُ وَلَمْ يَغْسِلْهُ ‏.‏
