\n\n \nYahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Sa'id ibn al-\nMusayyab and Abu Salama ibn Abd ar-Rahman told him from Abu Hurayra\nthat the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,\nsaid, "When the imam says 'Amin', say 'Amin', for the one whose 'Amin'\ncoincides with the 'Amin' of the angels - his previous wrong actions\nare forgiven him."\n\n\nIbn Shihab said, "The Messenger of Allah,\nmay Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say 'Aameen'\n(extending it)."\n\n

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّهُمَا أَخْبَرَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏\n"‏ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ آمِينَ ‏.‏
