وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، كَانَ يَذْهَبُ إِلَى الْعَوَالِي كُلَّ يَوْمِ سَبْتٍ فَإِذَا وَجَدَ عَبْدًا فِي عَمَلٍ لاَ يُطِيقُهُ وَضَعَ عَنْهُ مِنْهُ ‏.‏
